Who We Are
HostStackPro is an independent review site for developers, agencies, and technically hands-on site owners who need to choose WordPress hosting — managed platforms and VPS — based on real performance numbers, not marketing copy.
We publish head-to-head comparisons (Kinsta vs WP Engine, Cloudways vs Kinsta), individual host reviews (Cloudways, Nexcess, Rocket.net), and hands-on operational guides for people who run the infrastructure themselves: VPS backup automation, SSH key setup, server migration walkthroughs, WP-CLI workflows, and resource monitoring with tools like htop and iostat.
Our Methodology
We don’t just repeat a host’s marketing page. Where possible, our comparisons draw on published benchmark data, load-testing results (Pingdom tests across multiple hosts), and documented technical specifics — PHP version support, staging environment behavior, backup/restore mechanics, and support-response quality — so a reader can match a host’s actual trade-offs to their own workload, whether that’s a high-traffic WooCommerce store or a client-agency stack running on a self-managed VPS.
We’re upfront when a host is a strong fit for one use case and a poor fit for another. A platform we rank highly for agency workloads (like Cloudways or Kinsta) may not be the right call for someone who wants full root-level VPS control, and we say so directly in the relevant review.
